Park and Fly Options for Travellers This Holiday Season

With holiday travel volumes expected to be especially busy this season, Comox Valley Airport is reminding travellers that parking availability at YQQ may be limited during peak periods. To help reduce stress and keep journeys running smoothly, passengers are encouraged to plan transportation in advance and explore alternatives to on-site parking.

Local park-and-fly hotel options provide a convenient solution, allowing travellers to stay overnight and leave their vehicle parked for the duration of their trip.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites offers guests complimentary parking during their trip, located only 11 minutes away from the airport at 310 Hunt Road.

Take the stress out of travel with our Park, Stay & Go packages, which includes one night of accommodation and up to fifteen nights of parking at the conveniently located Holiday Inn Express & Suites Courtenay–Comox. Staying the night before or after your trip helps you avoid early-morning drives and unpredictable road conditions, ensures you arrive at the airport relaxed and on time, and eliminates the worry of a full airport parking lot.

• Guests who stay one night with us prior to departure receive complimentary parking at the resort for up to 14 nights, along with complimentary transportation to and from Comox Valley Airport.
• For guests who choose to stay one night before their trip and one night upon return, we offer complimentary parking for up to one month, again including free airport transfers both ways.
